Developing:

• Employee Handbooks, policies, procedures and related forms.
• Employment Contracts, Severance and Separation Agreements
• Commission or Salesperson Pay Plans, and Independent Contractor
  Agreements.

Conducting:

• Personnel audits to assess compliance with state and federal laws, including proper employee classifications.
• Internal investigations of employee complaints and the preparation of detailed summaries and reports of recommendations.

Providing:

• General Employment Law Advice in a non-traditional, preventative and pro-active approach designed to minimize the risk of litigation.
• Specific advice on Family and Medical Care, California Family Rights and Pregnancy Disability Leaves, and the combination of these with the Workers Compensation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the potential impact for layoffs, terminations and transfers.
